Alexander R.
Eagle
September 29, 2014
A year after the super storm Sandy hit our area, Alexander was looking for an Eagle Project. His favorite county park, Cranberry Lake (near Kensico Dam), had been hit by many downed trees so he asked the curator, Danniela Ciatto, if he could clear trails. She said she really needed a different project to close a roof on a stone chamber that posed a danger to visitors. Alexander decided this would be a great project and began the planning. Many Troop 4 Scouts and parents helped him and they constructed a wood platform over the opening in the roof of the stone chamber. The project went smoothly so and was completed on November 23rd, 2013. Alexander is thankful to all the Troop 4 helpers, parents, and to Home Depot for donating the materials
