John Kaspers

John initiated and led a project for the Old Croton Aqueduct State Historic Park to create a sustainable and welcoming garden entrance to the park's running path. Work involved cleanup of trash, design and implementation of a sustainable garden and a community notice board. The Old Croton Aqueduct Historic path runs from the Croton River through Van Cortland Park to New York City and was the original gravity-fed source of water for Manhattan. 27 people from the Troop helped out that day as well as all the people who helped him find the project with Habitat for Humanity!
