Robert B.
Eagle
January 9, 2017
When Robert moved to Scarsdale, his family found they had a 92 year old WWII veteran living across the street. He was so impressed with this, when it was time for his Eagle Project, a memorial our neighbor was involved with, The Kemper Memorial Park in Mamaroneck, was looking for someone to start up their beautification of the park. They gave him a parcel of land, approximately 600 square feet in size, and told him they wanted a flower garden that would bloom throughout three seasons. This is exactly what he built. In addition, he built wooden boxes to hold mini American Flags to be used at ceremonies honoring the Veterans.
